Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Universal Academy

It was a Battle of the Birds when Universal Academy faced off against Sarasota Military Academy on Tuesday. The Falcons secured a 62-56 W over the Eagles. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Universal Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brendan Brown out in front who posted 15 points. Abdullah Soliman was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Despite the loss, Sarasota Military Academy still got an impressive performance from Max Wilkins, who had 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Hamilton, who earned 12 points.

Universal Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sarasota Military Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Universal Academy will venture away from home to face off against Academy at the Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sarasota Military Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Out-of-Door Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
