Basketball Recap: Del Rio Comes Up Short

Del Rio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Alexander Bulldogs, falling 81-57. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 839th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 63rd).

Del Rio's loss dropped their record down to 6-26. As for Alexander, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 28-5.

As of now, neither Del Rio nor Alexander have any future games scheduled.
