Volleyball Recap: Randolph Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Randolph took on Bancroft-Rosalie on Saturday. The Cardinals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Randolph's offense was headlined by Abbey Backer and Alaina Schulz, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Brooke Meier and her 13 assists. Delayne Thelen and Lilly Kuchta kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Randolph's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, their win bumped their record up to 10-13.

Randolph didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Plainview on the 11th. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Stanton on the 11th.
