Basketball Recap: Spring Lake Park Panthers vs. Irondale Knights
After flying high against Blaine last Tuesday, Spring Lake Park came back down to earth. The Spring Lake Park Panthers took an 82-66 bruising from the Irondale Knights on Friday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Irondale's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Cramble, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. Those 20 points gave Cramble a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Fisher Killens, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 21 points.
