Lapel has gone 8-2 against Wapahani recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Monday. The Bulldogs will host the Raiders  at 5:30  p.m. The two teams are strolling into their  matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Lapel will bounce into Monday's   contest after  beating Eastern Hancock, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bulldogs' pitcher stepped up to hand the Royals  a   10-0 shutout  on Friday. Considering the Bulldogs have won nine games by more than seven  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Addison Bodenhorn made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Paige Stires, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in May of 2024.  Delaney Balser was another key player,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs.
 Lapel was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern Hancock only posted a  batting average of  .211.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Wapahani). They put the hurt on Randolph Southern with a sharp  16-0 win on Friday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  victory against them.
Like Lapel, Wapahani also got a great game from a two-way player:  Zoey Koger. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Koger was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs. That  home run marked the first that  she has  launched this season.
 In other batting news,  Clair Murrell was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI. She also put up a  triple, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Cheyenne Keele, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Lapel's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Wapahani, their victory bumped their record up to 2-12.
Wapahani's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Lapel hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .328. It's a different story for Wapahani, though, as  they've  only  averaged .241. Will they be able to contain Lapel's hitters?
 Everything went Lapel's way against Wapahani in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024, as Lapel made off with  a  6-0 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success,  or do  the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
