Basketball Recap: Brick Township Takes a Loss

Brick Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 57-43 fall against the Toms River South Indians. The Green Dragons lost against the Indians in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 77-39 score last time.

Brick Township's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Toms River South, they moved to 1-5 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brick Township will challenge Lakewood at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Toms River South, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Point Pleasant Beach at 6:30 p.m. Toms River South is facing Point Pleasant Beach at the right time seeing as Point Pleasant Beach is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
