Southlands Christian strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 26-14 victory over the Horizon Prep Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Horizon Prep had strong showings from Lochlan Church, who gained 111 total yards and a touchdown, and JJ Garcia, who picked up 24 receiving yards and one score.

Southlands Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Horizon Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Southlands Christian will head out to challenge Noli Indian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Horizon Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Warner at 3:15 p.m. on the 26th.
