Ingleside and Jones are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will venture away from home to face off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ingleside hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Ingleside came up short against Calhoun on Friday, falling 8-1.

Meanwhile, Jones lost 9-1 to Calhoun on Tuesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jones saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Davyn Perez, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Jones' loss dropped their record down to 7-13-1. As for Ingleside, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12-1.

Ingleside came out on top in a nail-biter against Jones when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
