Basketball Recap: Crooksville Comes Up Short

Crooksville lost against John Glenn back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Crooksville Ceramics lost 82-60 to the John Glenn Little Muskies. The Ceramics have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

John Glenn's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayden Davis, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave Davis a new career-high in assists (seven). Another player making a difference was Stehl Bates, who posted 23 points along with seven rebounds and six steals.

Crooksville's record is now 7-14. As for John Glenn, their win bumped their record up to 17-4.

Coming up, Crooksville will venture away from home to square off against Sheridan at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for John Glenn, they will welcome West Muskingum at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
