Basketball Recap: Community Comes Up Short

Community lost against Ranchview back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Community Braves came up short against the Ranchview Wolves, falling 49-29. The game marked the Braves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kishone Zachariah continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ranchview, going 7 for 11 on his way to 19 points and three steals. With that strong performance, Zachariah is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Dehorney, who posted four points in addition to six steals and five boards.

Community's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Ranchview, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-33 win against Canton on the 28th. As for Ranchview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-35 victory against Godley on the 28th.
