Fort Bend Christian Academy lost against Lutheran South Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles fell 45-34 to the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lutheran South Academy can attribute much of their success to Natalie Browning, who posted eight points along with 16 boards and three steals. Those 16 boards gave Browning a new career-high. Sammie Browning was another key player, putting up six points.

Fort Bend Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Lutheran South Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Second Baptist the next time they take the court. Lutheran South Academy will head out to face Second Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Fort Bend Christian Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th.
