Football Recap: Allendale-Fairfax Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Allendale-Fairfax took on Ridgeland Secondary Academy Of Excellence on Friday. The Tigers took a blow against the Jaguars, falling 30-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ridgeland Secondary Academy Of Excellence to victory, but perhaps none more so than Palaal Crawford, who rushed for 108 yards and one score. Crawford's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.

Allendale-Fairfax's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Ridgeland Secondary Academy Of Excellence, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Allendale-Fairfax will be playing at home against Denmark-Olar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Ridgeland Secondary Academy Of Excellence, they will venture away from home to square off against Bamberg-Ehrhardt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Raiders' defense has only allowed seven points per game this season, so the Jaguars' offense will have their work cut out for them.
