Harrison County put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They skirted past the Grant County Braves 1-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 back in March.

The result came thanks to Brian Vaughn's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Harrison County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jashon Lewis, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Harrison County's victory bumped their record up to 19-2-1. As for Grant County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.
