Basketball Recap: Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles vs. North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights

The Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles pushed their score all the way to 67 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They had to suffer through a rough 95-67 loss at the hands of North Raleigh Christian Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), Cape Fear Christian Academy still had to take the loss.

When it comes to explaining why Cape Fear Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zeke Brock. Despite the final result, he scored 37 points along with eight assists. Brock hasn't dropped below 16 points for ten straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Godwin, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Cape Fear Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cape Fear Christian Academy will take on the Sabres at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge the Ravens at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Ravenscroft is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
