Bayfield waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Doherty Spartans as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Evelette Hollibaugh paced Bayfield's offense, picking up 13 kills. Hollibaugh got some help from Avery Shipman and her 29 assists. Hollibaugh also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Player #26, each putting up three.

Bayfield's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Doherty, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
