Basketball Recap: Lake Arthur Takes a Loss

Lake Arthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 71-15 loss at the hands of the Elida Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 79-26 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Elida's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Radlee Ferguson, who posted 13 points. Blayne Bricker was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Lake Arthur's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Elida, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Lake Arthur does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Elida has also already played their next contest, a 62-25 defeat against Legacy Academy on the 25th.
