Pasadena had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They never let the Arcadia Apaches get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Given Pasadena's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Arcadia are ranked 857th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Braden Ahrens and Tobias Gonzalez scored both of Pasadena's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Pasadena's victory bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for Arcadia, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Pasadena will take on La Serna in a holiday battle at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Arcadia, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Blair at 3:30 p.m. on January 5, 2026.
