Recap: Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Rams vs. Frontier School of Excellence

The Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy Rams were the 48-46 winner over Frontier School of Excellence when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy was dealt a 63-26 defeat at the hands of Frontier School of Excellence on Tuesday. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-14.

Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zack Blinn, who scored 8 points. Another player making a difference was Riley Ellis, who scored 8 points.

Frontier School of Excellence was led to victory by Merwis Ramirez Rodriguez and Mohamed Yussuf. Ramirez Rodriguez scored 16 points, while Yussuf scored 20 points. Henry Uti was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Frontier School of Excellence, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy will take on Frontier STEM at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Frontier School of Excellence, they will play host again and welcome Kansas School for the Deaf, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Kansas School for the Deaf focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 back in November.
