Baseball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry made up a huge gap compared to their last game against North Baltimore, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Commodores fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-1 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Commodores couldn't push the score so high this time.

Perry saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tate Essex, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for North Baltimore, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Perry will challenge rival Cory-Rawson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Baltimore is set to square off against their familiar foe Ridgedale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
