Soccer Recap: Bishop Walsh Comes Up Short

Bishop Walsh lost against Allegany back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans lost 6-0 to the Campers. While losing is never fun, Bishop Walsh can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Allegany are ranked 19th).

Bishop Walsh has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11-2 record this season. As for Allegany, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2-2.

Looking ahead, Bishop Walsh will head out to square off against Chestnut Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Allegany does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
