Basketball Recap: Castro Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against San Leandro last Friday, Castro Valley came back down to earth. The Castro Valley Trojans fell to the Berkeley Yellowjackets 67-63. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 57-49.

Castro Valley's record now sits at 10-14. As for Berkeley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castro Valley will venture away from home to challenge Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Berkeley, they will head out on the road to face off against Oakland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
