Baseball Recap: Grace Academy Comes Up Short

The Grace Academy Lions came up short against the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers on Tuesday and fell 8-4.

Grace Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reagan Price, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Alex Fredrick was another, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Grace Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Academy will face off against SouthLake Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they will take on A.C. Reynolds at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
