Softball Recap: Logan Wildcats vs. Poca The Dots

Logan won against Chapmanville Regional last Tuesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Logan Wildcats never let the Poca The Dots onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Logan.

Myleigh Adkins made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. Adkins has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Adkins was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and a double.

Adkins wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Addison Brumfied, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
