It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Bellevue West Thunderbirds had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 57-48. The victory was familiar territory for Bellevue West who now have 25 in a row.

Jaden Jackson was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Eldon Turner was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven assists.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Neal Mosser, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists. It was the first time this season that Mosser pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Derek Rollins, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.

Bellevue West's victory bumped their record up to 27-1. As for Millard North, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-3.
