Baseball Recap: Lathrop Comes Up Short

The Lathrop Spartans lost 16-2 to the Livingston Wolves on Thursday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lathrop saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tommy Hammond, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Lathrop's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Livingston, their record is now an identical 5-10.

While Lathrop had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
