Baseball Recap: Mid-Buchanan Dragons vs. Cameron Dragons
In what's become a running theme this season, Mid-Buchanan gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cameron Dragons with a sharp 12-2 win. The victory was just what Mid-Buchanan needed coming off of an 11-1 defeat in their prior game.
For Cameron's part, Alec Leazenby made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with a home run and two stolen bases. Hunter LeRette was another key contributor, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases.
Mid-Buchanan's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Cameron, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mid-Buchanan will challenge Lathrop at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cameron, they will head out on the road to take on Chillicothe at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
