Basketball Recap: Union's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Union had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Harper Hornets 50-26. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Union's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Harper, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Nyssa at 2:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Harper, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jordan Valley at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
