Baseball Recap: Cross Roads Comes Up Short

Cross Roads was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Frankston Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 23-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Cross Roads' loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Frankston, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

While Cross Roads had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
