Baseball Game Preview: South Summit Wildcats vs. Ogden Tigers

For the second straight game, South Summit will face off against Ogden. The Wildcats will face off against the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Summit is on a nine-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Ogden an eight-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck.

It was a proper cat-fight when South Summit faced off against Ogden on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 11-2 to the Tigers.

For Ogden's part, Easton Green was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Green a new career-high. Rodrigo Torres was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, three RBI, and two runs.

Ogden hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive matches.

South Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Ogden, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-14.
