Wadley skates past Woodland with ease

Recap: Wadley Bulldogs vs. Woodland Bobcats

After only 14 points in their last matchup, the Wadley Bulldogs made sure to put some points up on the board against the Woodland Bobcats on Thursday. Wadley simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Woodland 71-40 on the road. That looming 71-40 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Wadley yet this season.

Wadley found their leader in underclassman Damarious Spraddling, who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 3 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Spraddling has scored all season. Jaquez Wilkes was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 11 rebounds and six steals.

Wadley has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Woodland, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Wadley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Handley at 4:30 p.m. on January 20th. Handley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Wadley in Alabama (Handley is ranked 153rd, while Wadley is ranked 351st). As for Woodland, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Cleburne County at 7:00 p.m.
