Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Milford, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 15-6 margin over the Bearcats on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Mallory Rosendahl made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Rosendahl was also big at the plate, going 4-for-6 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 11 matchups.
