Clarke County extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Alainah Mckavish. The Clarke County Eagles simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Page County Panthers 51-17 thanks in part to Mckavish, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards. Her evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Mckavish, who posted nine points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played.
Clarke County's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points over those games. As for Page County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
Clarke County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-24 victory against Luray on the 7th. As for Page County, they have also already played their next contest, a 57-50 defeat against Rappahannock County on the 7th.
