Softball Recap: Jasper Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Jasper, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Norfork Panthers on Saturday, sneaking past 13-12. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Jasper now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Norfork, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Jasper will be playing at home against Hector at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. Jasper's pitchers better be ready for this one: Hector has averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season. As for Norfork, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Norfork Panthers challenge Lead Hill Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on the 31st. They are facing Lead Hill at the right time seeing as Lead Hill is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
