Monticello won the last time they faced Goochland and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 4-1 win. Monticello might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Goochland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Grayson Davis (2), Mario Johnson, and Harrison Pfeiffer.

Monticello's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-3-1. As for Goochland, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Monticello will challenge Louisa County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Monticello are facing Louisa County at the right time seeing as Louisa County are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Goochland, they will square off against Charlottesville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
