Eastern is 6-1 against South Oldham since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eastern Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the South Oldham Dragons at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, everything went Eastern's way against Meade County as Eastern made off with a 12-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Green Waves: they've now won three in a row.

Eastern got a massive performance out of Ethan Carroll, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance gave Carroll a new career-high in RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Boswell, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for South Oldham, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with an 8-4 win over Holy Cross on Wednesday.

The victory got South Oldham back to even at 1-1. As for Eastern, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Everything went Eastern's way against South Oldham when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Eastern made off with a 9-1 win. Does Eastern have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Oldham turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
