Basketball Recap: Sunset Takes a Loss

Sunset suffered their closest defeat since February 13th on Friday. They fell just short of the Tigard Tigers by a score of 58-56. The Apollos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 76-72.

Sunset's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Tigard, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Sunset and Liberty will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Tigard, they and Sandy will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Tigard knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Sandy likes a good challenge.
