Volleyball Recap: Chapman Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chapman had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Broome Centurions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 22-25, 25-22, 25-9.

Rowan Raney paced Chapman's offense, picking up 14 kills. Raney got some help from Ashley Lee and her 21 assists. Sarah Lancaster controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Chapman's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Broome, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Chapman has already played their next matchup (against Blue Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Broome, they will square off against Woodruff at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
