Volleyball Recap: Sault Area Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sault Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cadillac Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Sault Area was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Cadillac work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-11, 25-13.

Grace Zubeck was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

Sault Area's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Cadillac, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Sault Area has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bark River-Harris on the 4th. As for Cadillac, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Petoskey on the 7th.
