Trinity is 4-0 against Timber Creek since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Trinity Trojans will square off against the Timber Creek Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Trinity is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since October 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Byron Nelson by a score of 44-41. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 523rd, while the Bobcat are ranked 127th).

Meanwhile, Timber Creek played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 76-50 to Byron Nelson. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-21.

Timber Creek has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Trinity, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-15.

Trinity took their victory against Timber Creek when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 83-58. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trinity since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
