It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact San Marcos can now relate to. They took a hard 24-7 fall against the Vandegrift Vipers on Friday. The Rattlers haven't had much luck with the Vipers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

San Marcos' loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Vandegrift, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.
