Football Recap: Lancaster Takes a Loss

Lancaster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 35-14 to the Groveport-Madison Cruisers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Gales of the 35-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Lancaster's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Groveport-Madison, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lancaster will square off against rival Pickerington Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Groveport-Madison is set to take on their familiar foe Teays Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
