Soccer Game Preview: North Lamar vs. Ford

North Lamar will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Ford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Lamar's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

North Lamar fell victim to Venus and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that North Lamar have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Ford had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. Neither they nor Life Oak Cliff could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result was nothing new for Ford as the team haven't won a game since December 15, 2025.

Ford's draw makes their record 1-5-1 this season. As for North Lamar, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

North Lamar skirted past Ford 1-0 in their previous meeting back in January of 2025. Does North Lamar have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
