Soccer Recap: Lisle Has No Trouble Against Peotone

Lisle had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Peotone on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Blue Devils. Considering Lisle have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Liliana (Lily) Rocha and Jordan Rodriguez * scored all four of Lisle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Lisle's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5. As for Peotone, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Lisle will take on Manteno at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lisle will be up against Manteno's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.85 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Peotone, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 5-0 victory against Princeton on the 19th.
