Volleyball Recap: St. Scholastica Doves vs. Haynes Academy
It was a good run, but St. Scholastica unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Haynes Academy by a score of 2-1. Haynes Academy was led to victory by Isabella Granados and Ella Feehan. Granados had 12 digs, six kills, three aces, and two blocks, while Feehan had 16 digs. Those two blocks gave Granados a new career-high.
St. Scholastica now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Haynes Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which somehow still isn't as good as their 21-6 record this season.
St. Scholastica is taking a road trip to challenge Northlake Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Haynes Academy has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against E.D. White on the 19th.
