Soccer Recap: North Forrest Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sacred Heart, North Forrest was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Laurel Golden Tornadoes, sneaking past 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

North Forrest's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4-1. As for Laurel, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Forrest will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against West Marion at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Laurel and Stone will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
