After flying high against Grantsville on Thursday, Carbon came back down to earth. The Dinos took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Reds on Friday. Carbon's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Naomi Smith and Blythe Bradford scored both of Carbon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Carbon's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Cedar, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carbon will venture away from home to square off against Providence Hall at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar, they will take on Timpanogos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
