Basketball Recap: ACERO Garcia Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact ACERO Garcia can now relate to. They were dealt a 103-25 defeat at the hands of the Phillips Wildcats on Monday. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured 12 losses in a row.

Phillips' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camarie Richmond, who posted 16 points. Richmond continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Johnathon Duncan was another key player, putting up 12 points.

ACERO Garcia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Phillips, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.

ACERO Garcia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Phillips, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats take on the Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
