Football Recap: Thornton Fractional South Takes a Loss

Thornton Fractional South lost against Thornton Fractional North back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Red Wolves took a hard 31-12 fall against the Meteors. The Red Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Thornton Fractional South still got an impressive performance from Jerry Ward, who rushed for 85 yards and a pair of TDs.

Thornton Fractional South's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Thornton Fractional North, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Thornton Fractional South wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Bremen on the 24th. As for Thornton Fractional North, they have also already played their next contest, a 40-8 victory against Argo on the 24th.
