Volleyball Recap: Sterling Comes Up Short

Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Smoky Valley Vikings. The Black Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Smoky Valley, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Sterling has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Trinity on the 16th. As for Smoky Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Nickerson on the 16th.
