Basketball Recap: Eastbrook Academy Takes a Loss

Eastbrook Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Palmyra-Eagle Panthers, falling 88-38. While losing is never fun, Eastbrook Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 497th, while Palmyra-Eagle is ranked 232nd).

Eastbrook Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Palmyra-Eagle, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Eastbrook Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-39 loss against Cristo Rey Jesuit on the 14th. Palmyra-Eagle has also already played their next matchup (against Deerfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
